94 Calls to Action Reading Circle
About this event
Join us in person to read together the 94 Calls to Action from the Truth and Reconciliation Report. The Reading Circle is hosted by Metis Community Services Society of BC as part of their Relatives in Reconciliation Project. From 2010 to 2015, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission listened to and documented the experiences of survivors, families, communities and anyone personally affected by the Indian Residential School Experience. In June 2015 they published their final report, which outlined 94 Calls to Actions for Canadians. We will take turns reading the Calls. Circle facilitators will guide the flow of the readings and the discussion. A copy of the 94 Calls to Action will be provided to each participant.
