Building Local Resilience: Community-Centred Corporate Climate Adaptation
About this event
As climate risks intensify, businesses have a growing role to play in building resilient communities. On October 15, UN Global Compact Network Canada is gathering business leaders, industry experts, and community representatives to present findings and resources created through our project on community-centered climate adaptation supported by Natural Resources Canada’s Climate Change Adaptation Program. Join UN Global Compact staff and concerned colleagues from across sectors to discuss insights, apply the toolkit's insights through an interactive exercise and hear directly from business and community leaders on practical approaches to building community climate resilience through corporate adaptation initiatives.
