Community Walk to Climate Action

Wondering how you can make changes in your community for local climate impact? Or are you curious about the connection between urban design and climate change? ​In this community walk, we will explore the Grandview-Woodland and Commercial Drive neighbourhoods, discussing how choices about urban infrastructure affect people’s lifestyle choices, and by extension their climate impact. We’ll also talk about small-scale actions that participants can implement in their local community, and how they can have a say in larger-scale actions taken on by local governments.
