Karma Co-op's Fabric Repair Workshop

About this event
Japanese Embroidery, Stitching and Darning Learn this modern embroidery skill! Workshop leaders Sato and Yoko have held many workshops in Japan. They will provide darning materials which can repair sweaters, jeans, socks, handkerchiefs, sweatshirts, tshirts, etc. Please note: All fabric items need to have recently been washed. Also, assess your item to see if the fabric is strong enough to be mended. Hold it up to the light and if it is thin and light shines through where it is worn, there is not enough life left in the fabric for it to be repaired. Event registration closes at 7:00 pm, 30 minutes before the end of the event to ensure there is time for fixers to work on items. Please come at the beginning of the event to register. Free to Attend - (PWYC) Pay What You Can Click here for further and contact information.
