Important Note: This event is intended for UBC students and recent graduates exploring careers at the intersection of climate and business. While we welcome others who are interested in these topics, we will prioritize participation from UBC students and recent graduates.
Students will explore the rapidly evolving world of carbon markets and learn how innovative climate solutions are being developed, verified, and scaled globally. This session will introduce diverse career pathways in carbon removal, supply‑side market development, and project verification. Participants will gain insight into how organizations measure, manage, and trade carbon credits spanning topics such as carbon project methodology, market integrity, and the intersection of policy, technology, and sustainability.
